Common Issues & Solutions
"Video unavailable" or "Private video"
MvDowloader cannot download private videos, age-restricted content, or videos that have been removed. Make sure the video is publicly accessible and not region-locked.
Limited quality options available
The available quality options depend on how the video was originally uploaded to YouTube. If a video was uploaded in 720p, you won't be able to download it in 1080p or 4K. YouTube Shorts are typically limited to 1080p maximum.
Download is very slow
Download speed depends on your internet connection and the file size. 4K videos can be several gigabytes. Try selecting a lower quality option if you need faster downloads. Also check that no other applications are using your bandwidth.
Live streams or premieres
You cannot download videos that are currently live streaming or scheduled premieres that haven't started yet. Wait until the stream ends or the premiere completes, then the video will be available for download.
